Cricket match
June 16, 2013. While the adults played toiled for 5 hours in a game of cricket we reaped the benefit by collecting a good donation from the visiting team - £70 ! Our first donation as well!
Annual tour de Thames
3rd August, 2013. The second annual summer event along the meandering Thames took place with many turning up to run or cycle 10 miles along the Thames from Twickenham to Hampton Park. Many of the children cycled for 10 miles while a few even ran some miles ! Then we enjoyed a warm picnic in Hampton Park with overflowing food as usual.
Children's and adults' Richmond running festival
Mo Farah inspired a few thousand adults and children to run in the Richmond half marathon on 22 Sept 2013. We though this was another great way to raise funds. The dads decided to run the half marathon and sought out sponsorship from their workplace friends. We raised very close to £ 300 ! Some of the little guys ran as well..although only for the kids mile .Overall we have raised close to £ 430, from our target of £ 600, to be handed over to Sishu Sadan orphanage.
